No other species dwell on such things. They live their lives moment to moment. They do not plan their meals, they do not set their clocks and create their schedules, overbooking their time, so that they are constantly rushed.

How Nigerians Blame Hunger “Nonsense” for their Ridiculous Acts

How Nigerians Blame Hunger “Nonsense” for their Ridiculous Acts

Nigeria is the giant of Africa, the number 1 billionaire is from there, the land is blessed with talents and whatever good thing you have heard about Nigeria. But what else have you heard and seen?

One thing the world do not see is the G-R-D word some of them are struggling with. They blame hunger for some of their inappropriate acts. And when they do not see another factor to cast the lot, they blame the government – their leaders.

The Nigerian Plague – Greed

Every man falls to temptation but when you get used to temptations you do not see nothing wrong with it, such is the life of Nigerians. Wait, some Nigerians.

Just as other country politicians, their politicians are corrupt in their own way.  However, one thing Nigeria and the world do not see is that, without the legislatures, countries will be more graceful and fruitful (reduced capital expenditure).

Talking about greed. This comes in many dimensions. But today, I am looking at an event that took place recently in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

A Beer Truckload Crashed off

A truckload of beer crashed in Akwa Ibom State, what do you think the resident did? Called the police or Road safety?

Why will they call the Police when some of her citizens say they can’t be trusted? Road Safety agency? How will they leave leveraging and tasking cars to control what won’t benefit them?

Are the above a reason for what the resident did? What did they do? They simply saw opportunity meeting with preparation, and boom, they exhibited their plague, GREED.

Without thinking of the losses incurred by the owner of the crashed truck, they simply saw a garland to take free beers. You can see them below filling their greedy bellies.

The Beer Truckload was Covered by Insurance

Could this had been the reason some of them drunk to stupor? If yes, then we will be fooled to believe that 70% of them that drank the free-cursed beer know how to spell insurance talk less of knowing what it is.

And even though they knew that the company was covered by insurance, wouldn’t it had been their position to protect more losses? Or are we saying there is no difference between $500 and $5,000 – $4500, they must have drank out?

The Truck Was Evacuated

Nigerians Blame Hunger

That could only have been possible because something bad happened. How? The truck and broken bottles were only “eventually” evacuated because the incident caused a traffic gridlock in the area.

If there were no traffic gridlock, no one would have been surprised to see the truck locked down there till the next morning where they greedy termites will fill their pot bellies, taking from where they never sowed.

Nigerians Blame Hunger

This is some of the acts of greedy idiots that give the country a bad name. And this is surly how most Nigerians blame hunger for their Ridiculous Acts.

When a new regime began in Ghana, they kicked against illegal mining of gold which was going on in some parts of the country. Note that this mining activity had effects such as air pollution, water sources destruction and more.
